Project Analyst/Associate

The Command Group (“Command”) is a family of companies providing full spectrum solutions related to safety, security, and intelligence. We assist government and private sector clients on six continents to reduce risk and accomplish organizational objectives.

Command is currently seeking candidates interested in supporting Command’s implementation of security solutions for a locally-based client. Overall, Command employees are self-motivated individuals well-suited to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging work environment.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Liaising with and assisting Command’s team of subject matter experts and coordinating schedules, organizing meetings, and managing the various moving parts of the project
  • Leading research and writing efforts to create tailored deliverables and building PowerPoint presentations
  • Working with the Project Manager and subject matter experts in drafting key policies and procedures for the client
  • Managing the lifecycle of client-facing tasks and reporting project updates
  • Assisting the Project Manager with contingency planning
  • Conducting research on vendors, services, and products; soliciting quotes; and liaising with vendors to oversee the logistics of deliveries and installations
  • Coordinating with Command’s accounting department and working within established budget frameworks to meet project and client deliverables in a cost-effective manner

An ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Prior experience and interest in project management (encouraged but not required)
  • Previous experience with regional and world affairs pertaining to the Middle East
  • Have a relevant knowledge-base on international and homeland security issues
  • Professional interpersonal and verbal / non-verbal communications skills
  • Excellent writing and research skills, especially the ability to write professionally in a compelling and concise fashion
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, multitasking, and time management skills
  • Initiative and ability to work well independently and with others
  • Positive “can do” attitude and comfortable with meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office suite applications, especially PowerPoint
  • Arabic language skills are encouraged but not required
  • Availability and willingness to work long hours on occasion
