The Command Group (“Command”) is a family of companies providing full spectrum solutions related to safety, security, and intelligence. We assist government and private sector clients on six continents to reduce risk and accomplish organizational objectives.

Command is currently seeking candidates interested in engaging with a diverse array of projects, understanding the dynamics of personal and corporate security, and managing a portfolio to best position and present security solutions to our high net worth and private sector clients. Specifically, we are looking for a highly motivated candidate to support our growing security consulting business line. The project assistant will play a role in a range of functions, to include researching and writing for deliverables on behalf of current clients and projects.

Overall, Command employees are self-motivated individuals well-suited to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging work environment. Command is looking for applicants with a diverse range of skills who are ready to take on a new challenge each day and assist multiple divisions with varying needs.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Building PowerPoint presentations and assisting with research and writing efforts to create tailored deliverables for our clients, such as threat assessments, gap analyses, and recommendations presentations
  • Managing vendors and liaising with subcontractors
  • Tracking project status for security upgrades and updating superiors, and as applicable, the client
  • Liaising with Command’s accounting department and working within an established budget framework to meet project and client deliverables in a cost-effective manner
  • Assisting the project manager(s) and other duties as assigned

An ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Have a relevant knowledge-base on international and homeland security issues
  • Professional interpersonal and verbal / non-verbal communications skills
  • Excellent writing and research skills, especially the ability to write professionally in a compelling and concise fashion
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, multitasking, and time management skills
  • Initiative and ability to work well independently and with others
  • Positive “can do” attitude and comfortable with meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office suite applications, especially PowerPoint
  • Arabic language skills are encouraged but not required
  • Availability and willingness to work long hours on occasion
